In the fall of 2008 Ken approached me at a coed softball game through the stake to ask if I had ever been to EFY at NAU. He recognized me from the summer of 2002 when we were in the same group. He later found a picture to prove it.
Sadly, all anyone had there were disposable cameras. If you strain your eyes you can see Ken on the far left and me in the khaki dress.
After a few months Ken and I became close friends. We spent every day together and texted in between. All our friends would tell us we would eventually date, but we would always deny any romantic interest (honestly believing we were not going to end up together).
After a year of this denial, Ken FINALLY kissed me and we started dating. Then after what seemed to be the longest year of my life... we were married.
