We are no longer "just the two of us", but officially the THREE of us!
(as you can see, the house is not much different than when we moved in)
Our special new addition to the family, Lincoln Bryce Obray! Since I'm playing major catch-up, I'll give a quick paraphrase of the 4 months since he was born.
I learned pretty quickly that pregnancy was not my favorite thing to do... Luckily this guy decided to come 2 weeks early!
Even though sleep was not a luxury Ken and I (mostly me) had anymore, we loved having a new member of the family. The feeling in our home changed and we relished in the change.
Being so easy going and happy it took no effort to love this tiny person. Not much of a cryer and quick to smile, Lincoln's little personality was already emerging.
Ken transitioned into being a dad like it was nothing.
Thankfully he was quick to help whenever I asked. Either he loves me a lot or he can't get enough of Lincoln... I'm just gonna say both.
Before we knew it, Lincoln started to lose hair and to my dismay, had a receding hairline.
I couldn't ignore it any longer... so I eagerly took the trimmers to his soft and very straight baby hair.
attempt #1 success #2
There has been another haircut since this last one. Funny enough, he is ready for another due to the fact that only the front portion (refer back to the balding pic) will grow...

He does okay with tummy time (he still wants to lift his feet with his head) but I see small improvements every day. And the "Bumbo" is especially useful when placed in front of a mirror- which I've recently found also helps with tummy time. Seems narcissistic... but who doesn't look in a mirror every time one is around.
I am also proud to say Lincoln is in a swim class every Thursday! A good girlfriend referred me to this wonderful "Baby Splash" class, which is perfect for my bath time loving child.

He's adorable, and you guys are doing an awesome job! Thanks for the update!
