On Sunday we got to go to the Phoenix temple with my family! My mom was called early this year to direct the cultural arts celebration that gets performed the weekend before the temple gets dedicated. The committee members and their families get the privilege to take a special tour. The tour guides took groups of about 15 people at a time and gave us extra info on everything. It was so exciting to get to be apart of this, BUT sadly, Lincoln was on one. AND it was around 7pm when the actual tour began so Lincoln was on his last leg of the night and his patience was wearing thin.
SO during those moments where I really wanted him to be quiet... He wasn't.

Even though Lincoln made it difficult to listen to what was being said, that special feeling you get in the temple was tangible. I'm so grateful we have such a place to grow and learn and to remind ourselves why we are here.
