And to our surprise was well stocked with Lincoln's favorite toys!
The house had so many things to keep the kids busy, which made the whole trip so much better.
We got to have breakfast a couple of times at a yummy spot in Dana Point called Stacks.

I loved the pancakes and Lincoln loved the trucks that drove by.
Every day we went to the neighborhood park (with an incredible view) and ran around to get energy out. Of course with toddlers, you frequent parks on vacation...
I was chatting with my sister when I hear one of my nieces say, " no Lincoln, don't take your shirt off!"
Its like he was proving his masculinity by throwing it over the bars onto the slide.

We visited the pier for fish and chips and got to walk around in the most amazing weather and see the best sunset. Ken and I have decided we will eventually live here...

It was so nice to have so many little babysitters on this trip too. Cousins are the best!
These sunglasses had been missing forever, but Lincoln found them buried somewhere in the car. He wouldn't take them off, which I found so funny since he's officially grown out of them.

The first day at the beach was cloudy and slightly chilly, but nothing was going to keep us from playing.
You can barely see him, but ken couldn't help himself when he had total access to the club gym. The treadmills faced a large window that opened up to the ocean, so tennis shoes or not he had to try it out.
Back to the beach again for a fire and s'mores!
Lincoln's neon shoes practically glow in the dark.
Lincoln's new found joy of blowing out candles has made him want to do the same to any flame.
The second day at the beach was perfect!!
I even pitched in bringing buckets of water to help with the sand castle effort.
It was hard to leave it all behind, but it was nice to get a quick vacation in before the baby arrives.
