I recently took Lincoln to the Phoenix Children's Museum. I figured there would be a ton of stuff for Lincoln to do, but there was really only one room for him to really play in. Luckily, he enjoyed everything about it and we ended up spending the whole trip there.
Maybe we'll build one of these in our house!
Later that afternoon I took him to the splash pad and for the majority of our visit he did everything but play in the water.
When he would play with the water, he would really just try to drink it. Nothing more refreshing than recycled chlorinated water...
The water would sporadically shoot out of the ground, and as you can see the anticipation was killing him.
From time to time we make the long drive out to Peoria and spend the day with "Aunt Mimi" and cousins. Traditionally, we like to go to Target...Sometimes more than once a day.
Mimi got him a little lunchbox that he couldn't part with the rest of the day.
Afterward, we took some treats to the twins while they were in school. Lincoln just fit right in!
On Saturday we got to join our ward in it's big Easter Egg Hunt and this year Lincoln actually participated.
The Easter Bunny was a little too much for him
and a high five was out of the question.
After the hunt we joined my family on a trip to Pima for my niece's baptism.
After the baptism we drove (Lincoln steered) down to the arena by my sisters house and got to see their horses.
Luckily this time Lincoln was not afraid of the horses.
The first time we put him on a horse it was after dark and he seemed to be less than pleased to get on one.
This time he seemed ok with it, but did end up getting over it shortly.
Instead he wanted to ride JJ's shoulders. Thankfully, he has a sweet uncle willing to oblige.
