Getting the Holidays started

Lincoln is completely obsessed with his cousins. So of course, we decided to get together and go to Schnepf Farms.

Sweet Allie is so patient with Lincoln (he's very partial to her) and she was covering his ears when the roller coaster rushed by.

Being pampered by the girls. No wonder he loves them!

Beck is the lucky new recipient of affection from the girls.

"The 'caboost' Mamma!" Lincoln's favorite part of a train is the caboose.

We're so lucky to have family that can play with us!

It's still been tough trying to balance playing with Lincoln and caring for Beck simultaneously. But I pushed forward and put together a cookie decorating activity for Lincoln.

Lincoln loved it, but Beck didn't...

It was fun seeing Lincoln finally show interest in being crafty. Up until now, he would have rather done anything but. So it was such a proud moment to see him dig into the frosting and sprinkles!

We have a cute little farm a couple miles from our home called "Vertuccio Farm". Lincoln loves riding in the little tractor pulled cars and was so excited to ride wth his buddy Jude.

Since Lincoln was finally into crafting, I pulled out the paint and pumpkins!

The slide at Vertuccio Farms became Lincoln's favorite spot  when we went back with Ken.

Sadly, after finally braving the jumping pillow, he quickly bumped into a big kid and got hurt.
This is where he pointed at the slides wanting to go back...

I LOVE costumes during Halloween. And now that I have a willing model to dress up, Halloween has become so much more exciting.
He was a "Sushi Chef" for preschool

"Russell", "Kevin", "Mr. Ferguson", and "Doug" from UP
Ken's family joined us at our churches "Trunk or Treat" party. It was fun to have his grandparents in town from Japan be there, especially since they were dressed up!

Lincoln had fun running around with his cute friends.

The music was too loud...

But not enough to keep him from dancing.

One sucker was not enough!

Ken's dad watched Lincoln so we could go to the Young's Halloween party.

we packed up Beck as our loot and dressed up as robbers!
Ken's face was a little too serious... :|

Then on Halloween night we were able to go out to Peoria and Trick or Treat with cousins.

Lincoln practically ate an entire bag of skittles... I guess of all nights to let your kid eat that much candy, Halloween would be it.

 Happy Halloween!
