First Family Vacation

It all started at the Phoenix airport where we met my family. The girls could not give him enough attention, from petting his hair to saying, "hello baby" a couple of inches from his face. Lincoln loved it (for the first few days).

Lincoln was all smiles experiencing so many new things... until the pressure started changing in the cabin.

Amongst all the screaming I didn't think to get a photo, but it may be engrained in my memory forever.
Luckily, he ended up passing out the last 45 minutes of the flight.

We arrived in the very chilly weather of Salt Lake and went straight to my brother Rhett and his wife Chelsey's home to eat lunch and take a break.

Then we finally drove to Chelsey's family cabin in Camas
Lincoln's reaction to the snow was a little underwhelming...

But lucky for us he didn't mind getting bundled up for the 14 degree weather... sometimes.

Later in the week we went to Heber to see the "ice castles"

Lincoln didn't  see much of those, but was nice and warm with grandpa (thanks for carrying that little chunk around dad).

On our last day, Rhett took us out on the snow mobiles. I guess you could say Ken and I are amateurs... we got both stuck, which Rhett had to free. The last was extra stuck in the frozen river... but three hours later we were home free with a little help from strangers and near frostbite on our toes. At the risk of sounding dramatic, I did have a little panic attack and said a few prayers but all was well and nothing/no one was hurt. Thanks again for keeping a cool head boys:)

The flight home wasn't as bad as the first... come to find out, the little guy must have had an ear ache from his second tooth that officially cut through our last day. So we gave him a full dose of Advil and gave him a bottle during take off. A little bit of fussing was expected, but all went well. We may not be flying again any time soon...
