Our friends Steven and Emily had connections and we were able to stay at a friend of a friend's cabin for the weekend up in Greer. We had heard it was nice prior to going up, but when we got there, we were all still amazed at how nice it really was. This cabin was nicer than most average homes.
For Maddie, this is exactly how camping in the middle of the woods should be, with a nice warm bed and a hot shower.
Here's Ken and the girls posing at a creek in Greer near a local diner called Rendezvous Diner where we all enjoyed our peach cobbler and bread pudding.
The girls got to do a little antique shopping and the boys got to eat their steaks and go gun shopping so everyone was happy and it turned out to be a nice little getaway.
