So we took Ken snowboarding for the first time in his life (being from Arizona that's understandable) and it was an unusually warm day at Sunrise Ski Resort in Greer, AZ so it was perfect for beginners. The snow was comparable to concrete and so turned out to be a great motivator for him not to fall on his butt.
Not saying that that's how it worked out....
Luckily, it was just an old injury flaring up so no serious damage done, just a little strain. He still looked pretty hardcore coming off the slopes with that thing. Maddie did really well since she had taken lessons while up in Rexburg, ID.

At the end of the day, we all came home tired but ready to do it again next year.
